Lack of Proper Documentation—INA § 212(a)(7)

An individual who does not possess a proper visa, re-entry permit, or valid entry document and a valid passport or other appropriate travel documentation, or identification document at the time of his or her applicantion for admission, if such a document is required under law, is inadmissible.
